{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-355.4a-108","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 355.4A-108","heading":"Exclusion of consumer transactions.","body":"(1) Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section, this article does not apply to a\nfunds transfer any part of which is governed by the Electronic Fund Transfer Act of\n1978 (Title XX, P.L. 95 -630, 92 Stat. 3728, 15 U.S.C. secs. 1693 et seq.) as\namended from time to time.\n(2) This article applies to a funds transfer that is a remittance transfer as defined in the\nElectronic Fund Transfer Act, 15 U.S.C. sec. 1693o -1, as amended from time to\ntime, unless the remittance transfer is an electronic fund transfe r as defined in the\nElectronic Fund Transfer Act, 15 U.S.C. sec. 1693a, as amended from time to time.\n(3) In a funds transfer to which this article applies, in the event of an inconsistency\nbetween an applicable provision of this article and an applicable provision of the\nElectronic Fund Transfer Act, the provision of the Electronic Fund Transfer Act\ngoverns to the extent of the inconsistency.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=41672","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:45Z","sha256":"17dff1e9a31ea80596eedc6e444f5414d1c80f1bf7988f50f96e2a1288dfbc7b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-355.4a-107","next":"us-ky/krs-355.4a-201"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
