{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-355.9-3062","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 355.9-3062","heading":"Law governing perfection and priority of security interests in","body":"controllable accounts, controllable electronic records, and controllable\npayment intangibles.\n(1) Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section, the local law of the controllable\nelectronic record's jurisdiction specified in KRS 355.12 -107(3) and (4) governs\nperfection, the effect of perfection or nonperfection, and the priority of a security\ninterest in a controllable electronic record and a security interest in a controllable\naccount or controllable payment intangible evidenced by the controllable electronic\nrecord.\n(2) The local law of the jurisdiction in which the debtor is located governs:\n(a) Perfection of a security interest in a controllable account, controll able\nelectronic record, or controllable payment intangible by filing; and\n(b) Automatic perfection of a security interest in a controllable payment\nintangible created by a sale of the controllable payment intangible.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=55684","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:48Z","sha256":"113730b5ba94a50a27e1823e62460f17838f6a5537ed2ace9a04426b62f06b52","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-355.9-3061","next":"us-ky/krs-355.9-307"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
