{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-355.9-525","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 355.9-525","heading":"Fees.","body":"(1) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (4) of this section, the fee for filing and\nindexing a record under this part of this article is:\n(a) Ten dollars ($10) if the record is communicated in writing and consists of one\n(1) or two (2) pages;\n(b) Twenty dollars ($20) if the record is communicated in writing and consists of\nmore than two (2) pages; and\n(c) Five dollars ($5) if the record is communicated by another medium authorized\nby filing-office rule.\n(2) The number of names required to be indexed does  not affect the amount of the fee\nin subsection (1) of this section.\n(3) The fee for issuing a certificate showing whether there is on file any financing\nstatement naming a particular debtor is five dollars ($5).\n(4) This section does not require a fee wit h respect to a record of a mortgage which is\neffective as a financing statement filed as a fixture filing or as a financing statement\ncovering as -extracted collateral or timber to be cut under KRS 355.9 -502(3).\nHowever, the recording and satisfaction fees that otherwise would be applicable to\nthe record of the mortgage apply.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=33830","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:48Z","sha256":"c481acabde82ef3e10f8c8593340b3120485552d98fd50f8a85df37558f1282f","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-355.9-524","next":"us-ky/krs-355.9-526"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
