{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-355.9-526","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 355.9-526","heading":"Filing-office rules.","body":"(1) The Secretary of State shall promulgate administrative regulations to implement this\narticle as it relates to the Secretary of State. The filing -office administrative\nregulations must be:\n(a) Consistent with this article; and\n(b) Promulgated in accordance with KRS Chapter 13A.\n(2) To keep the filing-office administrative regulations and practices of the filing office\nin harmony with the rules and practices of filing offices in other jurisdictions that\nenact substantially this part of this article, and to ke ep the technology used by the\nfiling office compatible with the technology used by filing offices in other\njurisdictions that enact substantially this part of this article, the Secretary of State,\nso far as is consistent with the purposes, policies, and pr ovisions of this article, in\npromulgating, amending, and repealing filing -office administrative regulations,\nshall:\n(a) Consult with filing offices in other jurisdictions that enact substantially this\npart of this article; and\n(b) Consult the most recent v ersion of the model rules promulgated by the\nInternational Association of Corporate Administrators or any successor\norganization; and\n(c) Take into consideration the rules and practices of, and the technology used by,\nfiling offices in other jurisdictions that enact substantially this part of this\narticle.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=33831","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:48Z","sha256":"b2e1c1bdfd070682076fa1505e6f24cce2bbc9d2b568b778b76c3910cd5df1b4","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-355.9-525","next":"us-ky/krs-355.9-527"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
