{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-355.9-623","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 355.9-623","heading":"Right to redeem collateral.","body":"(1) A debtor, any secondary obligor, or any other secured party or lienholder may\nredeem collateral.\n(2) To redeem collateral, a person shall tender:\n(a) Fulfillment of all obligations secured by the collateral; and\n(b) The reasonable expenses and attorney's f ees described in KRS 355.9 -\n615(1)(a).\n(3) A redemption may occur at any time before a secured party:\n(a) Has collected collateral under KRS 355.9-607;\n(b) Has disposed of collateral or entered into a contract for its disposition under\nKRS 355.9-610; or\n(c) Has accepted collateral in full or partial satisfaction of the obligation it secures\nunder KRS 355.9-622.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=33855","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:49Z","sha256":"ba3805e5c78f1955a0d57f3f8e87eb019563fde522c7bc952e42c42da5b91f78","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-355.9-622","next":"us-ky/krs-355.9-624"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
