{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-36.082","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 36.082","heading":"National Guard Facilities Construction Act.","body":"(1) This section may be cited as the National Guard Facilities Construction Act.\n(2) The purpose of this section is to provide funds for the construction of National\nGuard facilities at the following locations, at the estimated cost shown:\nLocation  Facility          Estimated Cost Expected\nFederal    State\nFunds    Funds\nLouisville  Maintenance Shop   $    75,000 $    6,000\nHickman  Armory    210,000 80,000\nLexington  Armory    340,000 145,000\nLexington  Maintenance Shop   75,000 6,000\nFrankfort  Aviation Maintenance Shop  85,000 6,800\nRavenna  Armory    190,000 75,000\nRussellville Armory    170,000 70,000\nFrankfort  Department of Military Affairs\nBuilding and State Government\nEmergency Operations Center   250,000 470,000\nTOTAL      $1,395,000 $858,800\nAny of these facilities may be constructed at such other locations at which National\nGuard units may be established.\n(3) Proceeds from the sale of facilities now held by the Department of Military Affairs\nwhich are obsolete or surplus to the needs of the department shall be deposited to\nthe capital construction fund to the credit of the Department of Military Affairs.\nSuch amounts credited and such additional funds as are available for general use\nwithin the capital construction fund may be used for construction of facilities for the\nDepartment of Military Affairs to carry out the provisions of this section. Any\nunexpended balances remaining at the close of a fiscal year shall not lapse, but shall\ncarry forward into subsequent fiscal yea rs. Upon certification by the adjutant\ngeneral that any project which was planned in anticipation of receipt of federal\nfunds, that such federal funds will not be received on a timely basis, state funds\ndesignated for such projects may revert to capital co nstruction fund to the credit of\nthe Department of Military Affairs for other construction projects.","path":["KRS Chapter 36"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=21436","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:54Z","sha256":"fc46e6ec59a42df3fef4a7fd9e8db77b970a08743c3cdcc4aa7e33abe16f46b0","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-36.081","next":"us-ky/krs-36.085"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
