{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-36.392","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 36.392","heading":"Military burial honor guard trust fund.","body":"(1) There is established and created in the State Treasury a fund entitled the \"Military\nBurial Honor Guard Trust Fund\" to provide funds to offset the costs of the Military\nBurial Honor Guard Program. The fund may receive state appropriations, gifts,\ngrants, f ederal funds, and any other funds both public and private. Moneys\ndeposited in the fund shall be disbursed by the State Treasurer upon the warrant of\nthe Adjutant General or his representative. Any unallocated or unencumbered\nbalances in the fund shall be invested as provided in KRS 42.500(9), and any\nincome earned from the investments along with the unallotted or unencumbered\nbalances in the fund shall not lapse and shall be deemed a trust and agency account\nand made available solely for the purposes and benefits of the Military Burial Honor\nGuard Program.\n(2) The fund shall be used to support the costs, beyond federal reimbursements, that the\nDepartment of Military Affairs and the Department of Veterans' Affairs incur and\ndeem necessary in providing and su pporting the personnel and activities of KRS\n36.390 to 36.396.","path":["KRS Chapter 36"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=21475","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:55Z","sha256":"f444e43383c964d1a3fec5ac8c0ee40dfc36ccf1fb1435930763249b629ceea5","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-36.390","next":"us-ky/krs-36.394"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
