{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-362.2-206","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 362.2-206","heading":"Delivery to and filing of records by the Secretary of State.","body":"(1) Unless the Secretary of State determines that a record fails to comply with the filing\nrequirements of this subchapter, and if all filing fees have been paid, then the\nSecretary of State shall file the record and:\n(a) For a statement of dissociation, send:\n1. A copy of the filed statement to the person which the statement indicates\nhas dissociated as a general partner; and\n2. A copy of the filed statement to the limited partnership;\n(b) For a statement of withdrawal, send:\n1. A copy of the filed statement t o the person on whose behalf the record\nwas filed; and\n2. If the statement refers to an existing limited partnership, a copy of the\nfiled statement to the limited partnership; and\n(c) For all other records, send a copy of the filed record to the person, or  the duly\nauthorized representative thereof, on whose behalf the record was filed.\n(2) Upon request and payment of a fee, the Secretary of State shall send to the requester\na certified copy of the requested record.\n(3) Except as otherwise provided in KRS 14A.2-090 and 14A.4-030, a record delivered\nto the Secretary of State for filing under this subchapter may specify an effective\ntime and a delayed effective date.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=36811","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:58Z","sha256":"218ef1e2b18bde8ca02bb0b14651d597bd464ecda6f706375a24c0124e5bb5d3","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-362.2-205","next":"us-ky/krs-362.2-207"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
