{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-362.300","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 362.300","heading":"Causes of dissolution.","body":"Dissolution is caused:\n(1) Without violation of the agreement between the partners:\n(a) By the termination of the definite term or particular undertaking specified in\nthe agreement,\n(b) By the express will of any partner when no definite term or particular\nundertaking is specified,\n(c) By the express will of all the partners who have not assigned their interests or\nsuffered them to be charged for their separate debts, either before or after the\ntermination of any specified term or particular undertaking,\n(d) By the expulsion of a ny partner from the business bona fide in accordance\nwith such a power conferred by the agreement between the partners;\n(2) In contravention of the agreement between the partners, where the circumstances do\nnot permit a dissolution under any other provisi on of this section, by the express\nwill of any partner at any time;\n(3) By any event which makes it unlawful for the business of the partnership to be\ncarried on or for the members to carry it on in partnership;\n(4) By the death of any partner;\n(5) By the bankruptcy of any partner or the partnership;\n(6) By decree of court under KRS 362.305.","path":["KRS Chapter 362"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=34319","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:55Z","sha256":"95a123e917bddab7790a844c60928571edfc81258953c691429e5562f7f76744","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-362.295","next":"us-ky/krs-362.305"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
