{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-363.700","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 363.700","heading":"Provisions as to rejected weights and measures.","body":"Weights and measures that have been rejected under the authority of the director or of a\nsealer shall remain subject to the control of the rejecting authority until such time as\nsuitable repair or disposition thereof has been made as required by this secti on. The\nowners of such rejected weights and measures shall cause the same to be made correct\nwithin thirty (30) days or such shorter period as may be authorized by the rejecting\nauthority; or, in lieu of this, may dispose of the same, but only in such mann er as is\nspecifically authorized by the rejecting authority. Weights and measures that have been\nrejected shall not again be used commercially until they have been officially reexamined\nand found to be correct, or until specific written permission for such  use is issued by the\nrejecting authority, or until the rejection tag has been removed and the rejected device\nrepaired and placed in service by a person duly registered to perform such acts under a\nregulation issued by the director for the registration of  weights and measures servicemen\nand service agencies.","path":["KRS Chapter 363"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=34692","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:00Z","sha256":"33a7f4849087440f956715f650b69746b0c3b7db36c3f150932f7326e9771a79","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-363.690","next":"us-ky/krs-363.710"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
