{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-363.780","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 363.780","heading":"Rules for delivery of bulk commodity sold by weight.","body":"When a vehicle delivers to an individual purchaser a commodity in bulk, and the\ncommodity is sold in terms of weight units, the delivery shall be accompanied by a\nduplicate delivery ticket with the following information clearly stated, in ink or by means\nof other indelible marking equipment and, in clarity, equal to type or printing:\n(1) The name and address of the vendor,\n(2) The name and address of the purchaser, and\n(3) The net weight of the delivery expressed in pounds, and, if the net weight is deri ved\nfrom determinations of gross and tare weights, such gross and tare weights also\nshall be stated in terms of pounds.\nOne of these tickets shall be retained by the vendor, and the other shall be delivered to the\npurchaser at the time of delivery of the c ommodity, or shall be surrendered, on demand,\nto the director, or the deputy director or the inspector, or the sealer or deputy sealer, who,\nif he desires to retain it as evidence shall issue a weight slip in lieu thereof for delivery to\nthe purchaser; pro vided, that if the purchaser, himself, carries away his purchase, the\nvendor shall be required only to give to the purchaser at the time of sale a delivery ticket\nstating the number of pounds of commodity delivered to him.","path":["KRS Chapter 363"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=34700","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:00Z","sha256":"77ee1ee5b7289950c183c65828bb594f1aea4ca2966433f09e038d5a31dd1dcc","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-363.770","next":"us-ky/krs-363.785"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
