{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-363.9055","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 363.9055","heading":"Use of biodiesel fuel blends encouraged.","body":"(1) As used in this section, \"biodiesel fuel\" means a biodegradable, combustible liquid\nfuel derived from renewable fats and vegetable oils that meets ASTM International\nspecification D6751 and is suitable for blending with petroleum -based diesel fuel\nfor use in diesel engines.\n(2) The General Assembly strongly encourages that, beginning on January 1, 2006, all\ndiesel fuel sold or offered for sale in the Commonwealth and reformulated to\nachieve federally mandated sulfur reduction requirements use biodiesel in a  blend\nnot less than two percent (2%) by volume to meet those requirements.","path":["KRS Chapter 363"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=52789","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:00Z","sha256":"d9b0c1a8441c2edb87afd537f52c842ba32fd533387b21371c3313a93fd64ec3","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-363.9053","next":"us-ky/krs-363.906"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
