{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-365.526","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 365.526","heading":"Impact of notice of safety recall.","body":"(1) If a shared vehicle owner receives an actual notice of a safety recall on a shared\nvehicle, the shared vehicle owner shall:\n(a) Remove the shared vehicle as available on the peer -to-peer car sharing\nprogram as soon as practicably possible after receiving the notice; and\n(b) Not make the shared vehicle available on the peer-to-peer car sharing program\nuntil the safety recall repair has been made.\n(2) If a shared vehicle owner receives an actual notice of a safety recall while the\nshared vehicle is in the pos session of a shared vehicle driver, the shared vehicle\nowner shall notify the peer -to-peer car sharing program as soon as practicably\npossible after receiving the notice so that the shared vehicle owner may address the\nsafety recall repair.","path":["KRS Chapter 365"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=53304","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:01Z","sha256":"b9b4a3629ed25bdfa02596f8c3bab0777db84a262366dd442c730eb01f2d84bb","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-365.524","next":"us-ky/krs-365.528"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
