{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-365.577","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 365.577","heading":"Certificate of registration.","body":"(1) Upon the applicant's compliance with the requirements of KRS 365.561 to 365.613,\nthe Secretary shall cause a certificate of registration to be issued and delivered to the\napplicant. The certificate of registration shall be issued under the signature of the\nSecretary and the seal of the state, and it shall show the registrant's name and\nbusiness address and, if the registrant is a corporation, the state of incorporation, or\nif a partnership, the state in which the partnership is organized, the names of the\ngeneral partners, the person claiming ownership of the mark, the date claimed for\nthe first use of the mark anywhere, the date claimed for the first use of the mark in\nthis state, the class of goods or services, a description of the goods or services on or\nin connection with which the mark is used, a reproduction of the mark, the\nregistration date, and the term of the registration.\n(2) Any certificate of registration issued pursuant to this section or a copy of the\ncertificate duly certified by the Secretary  shall be admissible in evidence as\ncompetent and sufficient proof of the registration of the mark in any actions or\njudicial proceedings in any court of this state.","path":["KRS Chapter 365"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=34808","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:01Z","sha256":"03abd7c6f6d20593ed296439baf86ce76885315f74259f70ad26fc8d93b51387","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-365.575","next":"us-ky/krs-365.580"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
