{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-365.710","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 365.710","heading":"Unsolicited goods deemed gift to recipient -- Definition -- Return of goods.","body":"(1) Where unsolicited goods are delivered to a person, he has a right to refuse to accept\ndelivery of the goods and is not bound to return such goods to the sender. Such\nunsolicited goods shall be deemed a gift to the recipient, who may use them or\ndispose of them in any manner without any obligation.\n(2) The term \"unsolicited\" as used in subsection (1) of this section does not include\nmerchandise requested by the recipient o r merchandise which is addressed to or\nintended for another person and which the recipient received by mistake.\n(3) Nothing in this section shall prohibit or prevent a person receiving unsolicited\ngoods from returning such goods to the sender.","path":["KRS Chapter 365"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=34841","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:02Z","sha256":"a447d8e67f02d64ad0196328be71252c854848f1eed193808afd6d22bd825266","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-365.695","next":"us-ky/krs-365.720"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
