{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-367.110","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 367.110","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in KRS 367.170 to 367.300:\n(1) \"Person\" means natural persons, corporations, trusts, partnerships, incorporated or\nunincorporated associations, and any other legal entity.\n(2) \"Trade\" and \"commerce\" means the advertising, offering for sale, or distribution of\nany services and any prope rty, tangible or intangible, real, personal or mixed, and\nany other article, commodity, or thing of value, and shall include any trade or\ncommerce directly or indirectly affecting the people of this Commonwealth.\n(3) \"Documentary material\" means the origi nal or a copy of any book, record, report,\nmemorandum, paper, communication, tabulation, map, chart, photograph,\nmechanical transcription, or other tangible document or recording.\n(4) \"Examination\" of documentary material shall include the inspection, stu dy, or\ncopying of any such material, and the taking of testimony under oath or\nacknowledgment in respect of any such documentary material or copy thereof.","path":["KRS Chapter 367"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=34907","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:03Z","sha256":"9aef939b9681c6fc0739095113cdfc2bbc23e8a1ad0b5184b51db3c426cdfddc","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-367.070","next":"us-ky/krs-367.120"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
