{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-367.140","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 367.140","heading":"Consumers' Advisory Council -- Meetings -- Quorum -- Compensation.","body":"(1) The Consumers' Advisory Council shall be attached for administrative purposes to\nthe Department of Law, with such duties and responsibilities to act in an advisory\ncapacity on consumer affairs as the council deems necessary and as directed by the\nGovernor, the Attorney General or the legislative branch of government.\n(2) The Consumers' Advisory Council shall meet at least four (4) times each year at\nsuch times and places as shall be designated by its chairman, and shall hold such\nother meetings as shall be called by the chairman. Seven (7) members of the council\nshall constitute a quorum. The members of the council shall receive twenty -five\ndollars ($25) per day for attending each meeting and shall receive their reasonable\nand necessary expenses in connectio n with the performance of their duties, to be\npaid out of sums appropriated to the Department of Law.\n(3) The Consumers' Advisory Council shall prepare and publish annually a report on\nthe state of consumer affairs in Kentucky.","path":["KRS Chapter 367"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=34910","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:03Z","sha256":"f9285d35c6d7f540e14b3f4c83a88fd28bd9537bd7d431f67bf1ea7cf7e95106","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-367.130","next":"us-ky/krs-367.150"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
