{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-367.385","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 367.385","heading":"Violation of KRS 367.381 deemed unlawful act under Consumer","body":"Protection Act -- Availability of Consumer Protection Act remedies --\nAuthority to promulgate administrative regulations.\n(1) A violation of any provision of KRS 367.381 shall be deemed an un fair, false,\nmisleading, or deceptive act or practice in the conduct of trade or commerce in\nviolation of KRS 367.170.\n(2) All of the remedies, powers, and duties delegated to the Attorney General by KRS\n367.190 to 367.300, and the penalties provided in KR S 367.990, pertaining to acts\nand practices declared unlawful by KRS 367.170, shall be applied to acts and\npractices declared unlawful by KRS 367.381.\n(3) Nothing in KRS 367.380 to 367.389 shall be construed to restrict the exercise of\npowers or the perfor mance of the duties of the Attorney General, which he is\nauthorized to exercise or perform by law.\n(4) The Attorney General shall have the authority to promulgate administrative\nregulations as he deems necessary for the proper administration of KRS 367.380  to\n367.389.","path":["KRS Chapter 367"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=34946","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:03Z","sha256":"300cfda2a8ec8cdc39fd8d49aa444da9822baf250eb2eccbfc419719d2a77d54","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-367.383","next":"us-ky/krs-367.387"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
