{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-367.636","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 367.636","heading":"Additional civil and criminal remedies available.","body":"(1) The remedies and penalties provided in KRS 367.634 are supplemental to those\nprovisions of state and federal criminal and civil law which impose prohibitions or\nprovide penalties, sanctions, or remedies against the same conduct prohibited by\nKRS 367.630 to 367.638.\n(2) KRS 367.630 to 367.638 shall not be construed to:\n(a) Bar any cause of action or preclude the imposition of sanctions or penalties\nthat would otherwise be available under state or federal law; or\n(b) Impose financial liability on providers of  an interactive computer service,\ncommunications service, commercial or mobile service, or information\nservice, including but not limited to an Internet provider, advertising network\nor exchange, domain name registration provider, and a hosting service\nprovider, to the extent that the providers provide the transmission, storage, or\ncaching of electronic communications or messages of others or provide\nanother related telecommunications service, commercial mobile radio service,\nor information service, for use  of such services by another person in violation\nof KRS 367.630 to 367.638.","path":["KRS Chapter 367"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=52621","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:04Z","sha256":"83dbc4fd1cc81d7315c657d1f8a3b4698a37638474b81c1fc0a8e6774daaa3ab","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-367.634","next":"us-ky/krs-367.638"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
