{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-367.656","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 367.656","heading":"Nonacceptance, revocation, suspension, or refusal to renew registration --","body":"Judicial review -- Civil action.\n(1) (a) A filing pursuant to KRS 367.653 and this section shall be accepted unless the\nAttorney General notifies the professional solicitor or fundraising consultant\notherwise, within fourteen (14) calendar days of the receipt of filing. If a filing\nis not accepted, the Attorney General shall notify the affected charity at the\ntime of rejection. Within seven (7) calendar days after receiving a no tice that\nthe filing requirements are not satisfied, the professional solicitor or\nfundraising consultant may request a hearing. The hearing shall be held in\naccordance with KRS Chapter 13B.\n(b) A professional solicitor or fundraising consultant may submit  an amended\nfiling upon receiving notice that his prior filing has not been accepted.\n(2) The Attorney General may revoke, suspend, or refuse to renew the registration of a\nprofessional solicitor or fundraising consultant if:\n(a) He has violated any provis ion of KRS 367.650 to 367.670 or any\nadministrative regulations promulgated by the Attorney General pursuant to\nthose sections;\n(b) He or any of his principal officers have refused or failed, after notice, to\nproduce any records or disclose any information  required pursuant to KRS\n367.650 to 367.670, or any administrative regulations promulgated by the\nAttorney General pursuant to those sections.\n(c) He has made a material false statement in an application, statement, or report\nrequired to be filed under KRS 367.650 to 367.670.\n(3) Any party to a hearing who is aggrieved by the final order may seek judicial review\nby filing an appeal in the Franklin Circuit Court in accordance with KRS Chapter\n13B.\n(4) The Attorney General may bring a civil action directly i n the Franklin Circuit Court\nor in the Circuit Court of any county in which the fundraising campaign involving\nthe professional solicitor or fundraising consultant is being conducted to revoke or\nsuspend the registration statement for any of the grounds set forth in this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 367"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=35029","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:04Z","sha256":"3454bd22c773aadb0ce5d2f5e2b76fcc6c9edbb9142d1a11b5a629656d6411d6","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-367.655","next":"us-ky/krs-367.657"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
