{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-367.666","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 367.666","heading":"Interstate reciprocal agreements on exchanging information -- Fiscal","body":"records -- Contribution deposit requirements -- Maintenance of records.\n(1) The Attorney General may enter into reciprocal agreements with the appropriate\nauthority of any other stat e for the purpose of exchanging information with respect\nto charitable organizations, professional solicitors, and fundraising consultants.\n(2) A professional solicitor shall maintain fiscal records concerning his charitable\nsolicitations in the Commonweal th. These records shall be kept on file during each\nsolicitation campaign and for at least three (3) years after completion of the\nsolicitation campaign.\n(3) Each contribution collected by or in the custody of a professional solicitor shall be\nsolely in th e name of the charitable organization for which the contribution was\nsolicited. The professional solicitor shall deposit the contribution in an account at a\nbank or other financial institution within two (2) business days of receiving the\ncontribution. The account shall be in the name of the charitable organization, which\nshall have sole control of all withdrawals from the account. Neither the professional\nsolicitor nor the fundraising consultant shall withdraw any deposited funds from the\naccount.\n(4) The records shall be maintained by the professional solicitor or the fundraising\nconsultant, if contributions are collected, and shall be available for inspection by the\nAttorney General no later than ten (10) business days after his request.","path":["KRS Chapter 367"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=35034","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:05Z","sha256":"3e8acfc43cb96013cdf4936afff22f1efe1f41ca43d97656245d7c3d84cd6954","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-367.665","next":"us-ky/krs-367.667"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
