{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-367.913","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 367.913","heading":"Member's cancellation rights.","body":"(1) In addition to any rights that may be conferred upon a member by KRS 367.610, no\nholder of a consumer credit contract, as that term is defined in KRS 367.600, shall\nfail to honor a member's cancellation rights and provide a refund within the time\nperiod required by KRS 367.910.\n(2) Subsection (1) of this section shall apply regardless of whether the consumer credit\ncontract is in compliance with trade regulations issued or promulgated by the\nFederal Trade Commission or any regulation of the Board of Governo rs of the\nFederal Reserve System or similar federal agency having jurisdiction relating to\npreservation of consumer claims and defenses in credit transactions.\n(3) No assignee of a health spa's right to payment pursuant to a contract not providing\nfor an e xtension of credit shall fail to honor a member's cancellation rights and\nprovide a refund within the time period required by KRS 367.910.","path":["KRS Chapter 367"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=35107","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:06Z","sha256":"2441f9292e3da35aa6a7b23c0552cd8f2208481bc4878c38b95fdc8937298b4f","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-367.912","next":"us-ky/krs-367.915"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
