{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-371.425","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 371.425","heading":"Applicability of KRS 371.400 to 371.425.","body":"(1) Except as provided in subsections (3), (4), and (5) of this section, KRS 371.400 to\n371.425 shall apply to public construction and public works projects, and to private\nconstruction, excluding residential construction.\n(2) KRS 371.400 to 371.425 shall appl y to construction contracts entered into after\nJune 26, 2007.\n(3) KRS 371.400 to 371.425 shall not apply to contracts entered into by a borrower of\nfunds that are provided, insured, or guaranteed by the United States Department of\nAgriculture's Rural Utili ties Service, or financed under a lien accommodation by\nthe Rural Utilities Service.\n(4) KRS 371.400 to 371.425 shall not apply to any contract for construction of or\nrelating to any facility as defined in KRS Chapter 278.\n(5) In the event of a conflict be tween KRS 371.400 to 371.425 and KRS 367.620 to\n367.628, KRS 367.620 to 367.628 shall control.","path":["KRS Chapter 371"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=56111","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:08Z","sha256":"f6fd81b74d3463cbeea88617f6b8c53ae89bc62591b05b805ab04eac45b5ced7","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-371.420","next":"us-ky/krs-371.990"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
