{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-381.9147","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 381.9147","heading":"Relocation of boundaries between adjoining units.","body":"(1) Subject to the provisions of the declaration and other provisions of law, the\nboundaries between adjoining units may be relocated by an amendment to the\ndeclaration upon application to the association by the owners of those units. If the\nowners of the adjo ining units have specified a reallocation between their units of\ntheir allocated interests, the application shall state the proposed reallocations.\nUnless the executive board determines, within thirty (30) days, that the reallocations\nare unreasonable, the  association shall prepare an amendment that identifies the\nunits involved, states the reallocations, is executed by those unit owners, contains\nwords of conveyance between them, and upon recordation, is indexed in the name\nof the grantor and the grantee.\n(2) The association shall prepare and record plats or plans necessary to show the altered\nboundaries between adjoining units, and their dimensions and identifying numbers.\n(3) All costs associated with the preparation and recording of the documents, plats,  and\nplans required by this section shall be paid by the unit owners.","path":["KRS Chapter 381"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=36840","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:11Z","sha256":"683dc1457b6c5b385428ffd1a615028ea76f6598420a3816bde3a34518edb153","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-381.9145","next":"us-ky/krs-381.9149"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
