{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-386.023","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 386.023","heading":"Investment method alternatives.","body":"Any other provisions of this chapter notwithstanding, and in the absence of an express\nprovision to the contrary in an instrument establishing a fiduciary relationship, whenever\nsuch instrument requires, directs, authorizes, or permits a fiduciary to inves t funds in\nobligations of the United States government or in obligations unconditionally guaranteed\nby the United States government, such fiduciary may invest in and hold such obligations\neither directly or in the form of securities in any open -end management type investment\ncompany or investment trust registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940, as\nfrom time to time amended, provided that the portfolio of such investment company or\ninvestment trust is limited to such obligations and to repurchase a greements fully\ncollateralized by obligations of the United States government or obligations\nunconditionally guaranteed by the United States government and provided further that\nany such investment company or investment trust shall take delivery of such co llateral\neither directly or through an authorized custodian.","path":["KRS Chapter 386"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=35827","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:15Z","sha256":"a990ff108be62cad93b9a91c21bfacd77d574565636e27a5529f1c86486abc93","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-386.020","next":"us-ky/krs-386.025"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
