{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-386b.1-070","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 386B.1-070","heading":"Methods and waiver of notice.","body":"(1) Notice to a person under this chapter or the sending of a document to a person under\nthis chapter shall be accomplished in a manner reasonably suitable under the\ncircumstances and likely to result in receipt of the notice or document. Permissible\nmethods o f notice or for sending a document include first -class mail, personal\ndelivery, delivery to the person's last known place of residence or place of business,\nor a properly directed electronic message.\n(2) Notice otherwise required under this chapter or a document otherwise required to be\nsent under this chapter need not be provided to a person whose identity or location\nis unknown to and not reasonably ascertainable by the trustee.\n(3) Notice under this chapter or the sending of a document under this chapter  may be\nwaived by the person to be notified or sent the document.\n(4) Notice of a judicial proceeding shall be given as provided in the applicable rules of\ncivil procedure and, if notice is made by publication, proof of the giving of notice\nshall be made o n or before the hearing and filed in the proceeding as provided in\nKRS 424.170.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=43070","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:18Z","sha256":"5dbad0cfb8715a69d9eb36528b124aa31928c43a907177243f96dc28deda94d5","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-386b.1-060","next":"us-ky/krs-386b.1-080"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
