{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-386b.1-080","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 386B.1-080","heading":"Others treated as qualified beneficiaries.","body":"(1) A charitable organization expressly designated to receive distributions under the\nterms of a charitable trust has the rights of a qualified beneficiary under this chapter\nif the charitable organization, on the date the charitable organization's qualificati on\nis being determined:\n(a) Is a distributee or permissible distributee of trust income or principal;\n(b) Would be a distributee or permissible distributee of trust income or principal\non the termination of the interests of other distributees or permissibl e\ndistributes then receiving or eligible to receive distributions; or\n(c) Would be a distributee or permissible distributee of trust income or principal\nif the trust ended on that date.\n(2) A person appointed to enforce a trust established for the care of an animal or\nanother noncharitable purpose under KRS 386B.4-080 or 386B.4-090, has the rights\nof a qualified beneficiary under this chapter.\n(3) Other than those listed in KRS 386B.7-060, the Attorney General has the rights of a\nqualified beneficiary with respect to a charitable trust governed by this chapter.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=43071","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:18Z","sha256":"bef6ece85e02efbfd8f99ae93c2ef3142a0937c3210a6b66c1b24ba9a405e433","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-386b.1-070","next":"us-ky/krs-386b.1-090"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
