{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-386b.12-010","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 386B.12-010","heading":"Definitions for subchapter.","body":"As used in this subchapter:\n(1) \"Breach of trust\" includes a violation by a trust director or trustee of a duty imposed\non that director or trustee by the terms of the trust, the provisions of KRS 386B.12 -\n010 to 386B.12-170, or other law of this Commonwealth pertaining to trusts;\n(2) \"Directed trust\" means a trust for which the terms of the trust grant a power of\ndirection;\n(3) \"Directed trustee\" means a trustee that is subject to a trust director's power of\ndirection;\n(4) \"Person\" has the same meaning as in KRS 386B.1-010;\n(5) \"Power of direction\" has the same meaning as in KRS 386B.1-010;\n(6) \"Settlor\" has the same meaning as in KRS 386B.1-010;\n(7) \"State\" has the same meaning as in  KRS 386B.1-010;\n(8) \"Terms of a trust\" has the same meaning as in KRS 386B.1-010;\n(9) \"Trust director\" has the same meaning as in  KRS 386B.1-010; and\n(10) \"Trustee\" has the same meaning as in KRS 386B.1-010.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=57733","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:19Z","sha256":"6ea182b7b24aa13c1e59a25fdad9e3de3c7ae4c5360ffb9a01cf14aee5f3f466","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-386b.11-050","next":"us-ky/krs-386b.12-020"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
