{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-393a.150","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 393A.150","heading":"Address of apparent owner to establish priority.","body":"In KRS 393A.150 to 393A.210:\n(1) The last -known address of an apparent owner shall be any description, code, or\nother indication of the location of the apparent owner which identifies the state,\neven if the description, code, or indication of location shal l not be sufficient to\ndirect the delivery of first-class United States mail to the apparent owner;\n(2) If the United States postal zip code associated with the apparent owner is for a post\noffice located in this state, this state shall be deemed to be the  state of the last -\nknown address of the apparent owner unless other records associated with the\napparent owner specifically identify the physical address of the apparent owner to\nbe in another state;\n(3) If the address under subsection (2) of this section is in another state, the other state\nshall be deemed to be the state of the last-known address of the apparent owner; and\n(4) The address of the apparent owner of a life or endowment insurance policy or\nannuity contract or its proceeds shall be presumed to be the address of the insured or\nannuitant if a person other than the insured or annuitant is entitled to the amount\nowed under the policy or contract and the address of the other person is not known\nby the insurance company and cannot be determined under KRS 393A.160.","path":["KRS Chapter 393A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=48112","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:24Z","sha256":"360fd430543571f7b290aa636b595d4866338b87a9c09fb3bb49739b42de07f0","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-393a.140","next":"us-ky/krs-393a.160"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
