{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-393a.220","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 393A.220","heading":"Report required by holder.","body":"(1) A holder of property presumed abandoned and subject to the custody of the\nadministrator shall report in a record to the administrator concerning the property. A\nholder shall not be required to file a report if the holder has no property that is\npresumed ab andoned. The administrator shall not require a holder to file a paper\nreport.\n(2) A holder may contract with a third party to make the report required under\nsubsection (1) of this section.\n(3) Whether or not a holder contracts with a third party under subs ection (2) of this\nsection, the holder shall be responsible:\n(a) To the administrator for the complete, accurate, and timely reporting of\nproperty presumed abandoned; and\n(b) For paying or delivering to the administrator property described in the report.","path":["KRS Chapter 393A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=48119","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:24Z","sha256":"2636f991fda2704ba4c7c804e9bab8e85d7650411476bb717d90d5bd45671c8e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-393a.210","next":"us-ky/krs-393a.230"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
