{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-393a.570","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 393A.570","heading":"Administrative regulations for conducting examination.","body":"(1) The administrator shall promulgate administrative regulations in accordance with\nKRS Chapter 13A governing procedures and standards for an examination under\nKRS 393A.560, including rules for use of an estimation, extrapolation, and\nstatistical sampling in conducting an examination.\n(2) An examination under KRS 393A.560 shall be performed under administrative\nregulations promulgated under subsection (1) of this section and with generally\naccepted examination practices and standards applicable to an unclaimed -property\nexamination.\n(3) If a person subject to examination under KRS 393A.560 has filed the reports\nrequired under KRS 393A.220 and 393A.550 and has retained the records required\nby KRS 393A.250, the following shall apply to the examination:\n(a) The examination shall include a review of the person's records;\n(b) The examination shall not be based on an estimate unless the person expressly\nconsents in a record to the use of an estimate; and\n(c) The person conducting the examination shall consider the evid ence presented\nin good faith by the person in preparing the findings of the examination under\nKRS 393A.610.","path":["KRS Chapter 393A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=48154","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:25Z","sha256":"f5b95b4163fb973e21b88fe34a8b8e03e2c16649d9686b7ccbc71e1f9fb1706a","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-393a.560","next":"us-ky/krs-393a.580"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
