{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-393a.710","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 393A.710","heading":"Interstate and international agreement -- Cooperation.","body":"(1) Subject to subsection (2) of this section, the administrator may:\n(a) Exchange information with another state or foreign country relating to\nproperty presumed abandoned or relating to the possible existence of property\npresumed abandoned; and\n(b) Authorize in a record another state or foreign country or a person acting on\nbehalf of the other state or country to examine its records of a putative holder\nas provided in KRS 393A.550 to 393A.650.\n(2) An exchange or examination under subsection (1) of this secti on may be done only\nif the state or foreign country has confidentiality and security requirements\nsubstantially equivalent to those in KRS 393A.770 to 393A.830 or agrees in a\nrecord to be bound by this state's confidentiality and security requirements.","path":["KRS Chapter 393A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=48168","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:25Z","sha256":"4d474667789fdda7d7404a87792de03f41643705dfa6ad2b6a8651f45d3e6efc","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-393a.700","next":"us-ky/krs-393a.720"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
