{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-395a.100","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 395A.100","heading":"Disclosure of other digital assets of principal.","body":"Unless otherwise ordered by the court, directed by the principal, or provided by a power\nof attorney, a custodian shall disclose to an agent with specific authority over digital\nassets or general authority to act on behalf of a principal a catalogue of ele ctronic\ncommunications sent or received by the principal and digital assets, other than the content\nof electronic communications, of the principal if the agent gives the custodian:\n(1) A written request for disclosure in physical or electronic form;\n(2) An original or a copy of the power of attorney that gives the agent specific authority\nover digital assets or general authority to act on behalf of the principal;\n(3) A certification by the agent, under penalty of perjury, that the power of attorney is in\neffect; and\n(4) If requested by the custodian:\n(a) A number, username, address, or other unique subscriber or account identifier\nassigned by the custodian to identify the principal's account; or\n(b) Evidence linking the account to the principal.","path":["KRS Chapter 395A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=50228","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:27Z","sha256":"498d116d85e0f059003a18cd0460b5226f3c93e7131a02981844d5bab03e92a6","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-395a.090","next":"us-ky/krs-395a.110"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
