{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-39a.230","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 39A.230","heading":"Procedures for one multirisk, multiagency, unified incident command or","body":"management system.\n(1) The Kentucky Emergency Operations Plan shall include procedures for one\nmultirisk, multiagency, unified incident command or management system to be\nused by a ll state agencies responding to the scene of an emergency, declared\nemergency, disaster, or catastrophe, as contemplated by KRS 39A.010, 39A.020, or\n39A.030.\n(2) Local emergency operations plans shall include procedures for:\n(a) An incident command or mana gement system to be used by individual local\nagencies or departments when responding to the scene of day -to-day, routine\nemergency incidents; and\n(b) One unified incident command or management system to be used by all local\nagencies or departments when res ponding to the scene of a multiagency or\nmultijurisdictional emergency, declared emergency, disaster, or catastrophe, as\ncontemplated by KRS 39A.010, 39A.020, or 39A.030.\n(3) All incident command or management system procedures required pursuant to\nsubsections (1) or (2) of this section shall be based upon or utilize the five (5)\nfunctions of: command, operations, planning, logistics, and finance.","path":["KRS Chapter 39A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=21717","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:58Z","sha256":"bd0e7b8855953961973d503c00682f3af61afecdcb9c5fea5496e12dd953ea23","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-39a.220","next":"us-ky/krs-39a.240"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
