{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-39a.240","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 39A.240","heading":"State Emergency Operations Center -- Agency representatives.","body":"(1) The division shall maintain the State Emergency Operations Center and those\nalternate locations deemed necessary, and shall activate the State Emergency\nOperations Center when deemed necessary by the director, the Adjutant General, or\nthe Governor.\n(2) Each cabinet of state government, and each independent agency of state\ngovernment, and other organizations provided for in the Kentucky Emergency\nOperations Plan shall immediately send a designated person to the State Emergency\nOperations Center upon request of the director, during a time of emergency or\ndisaster or the threatened or impending happening of such an incident. They shall\nremain at the State Emergency Operations Center until relieved and replaced, unless\nreleased by the director.\n(3) Persons representing agencies of state government or other organizations assigned\nto the State Emergency Operations Center during times of emergency or disaster or\nthe threatened or impending happening thereof may obligate the funds, equipment,\nand personnel of the org anization which they represent, and make decisions on\nbehalf of the organization which they represent.","path":["KRS Chapter 39A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=21718","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:58Z","sha256":"dd9d25117a7217cf79663faf5aa9bd496b41d3ec4af3155d74a2844376e86a06","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-39a.230","next":"us-ky/krs-39a.245"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
