{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-40.060","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 40.060","heading":"Applications.","body":"All applications for the veterans' bonus shall be submitted to the administrator, in writing,\nupon forms prepared and made available by the administrator; and shall be accompanied\nby such documentary evidence as the administrator may by regulation prescrib e. Every\napplication shall be verified under oath, and shall contain representations of the claimant\n(or, if he shall have been adjudged mentally disabled, or be an infant, his guardian or\nconservator), that:\n(1) The facts therein stated are true to the best of his or her knowledge and belief;\n(2) All documents submitted in support of the application are believed by the claimant\nto be genuine originals, or copies, as the case may be; and the claimant has no\nknowledge that any fact appearing therein is fal se, or no longer true, or that the\ndocument has been superseded or canceled;\n(3) The claimant has not received a veterans' bonus or like compensation from any\nother state;\n(4) That the claimant has neither paid nor agreed to pay, directly or indirectly, any\ncompensation for assistance received in preparing or tendering the application; and\nhas not solicited, received, or agreed to receive, directly or indirectly, any\ncompensation for rendering assistance to any other claimant; and\n(5) The claimant has knowledge of the penal and forfeiture provisions of this chapter.","path":["KRS Chapter 40"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=21826","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:59Z","sha256":"8d85597c2882d911ab3457dcbfa89fb263aa35630cf447ebadcdae21e14461cd","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-40.050","next":"us-ky/krs-40.070"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
