{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-40.220","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 40.220","heading":"\"Veterans' Bonus Fund.\"","body":"(1) The proceeds of all bonds issued and delivered under this chapter shall be deposited\nfrom time to time in the State Treasury and shall be segregated in a special fund,\nhereby created, which shall be designated the \"Veterans' Bonus Fund.\" Moneys in\nsaid fun d from time to time shall be disbursed solely for payment of approved\nveterans' bonus claims, and for the expenses incurred in issuing such bonds.\nPending disbursement, the same may be invested and reinvested as the State\nProperty and Buildings Commission may from time to time prescribe; and income\nfrom the investments shall be credited to such fund.\n(2) If there shall be an undisbursed balance in said fund after payment of all approved\nclaims received by the administrator within the time limits established  in KRS\n40.070, the same shall be transferred to the general fund of the Commonwealth.","path":["KRS Chapter 40"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=21842","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:59Z","sha256":"94752b212aaa96364e205710756acbec5e364305e6550de0fefb3e0a169ae98e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-40.210","next":"us-ky/krs-40.230"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
