{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-40.335","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 40.335","heading":"Revenue bonds -- Provisions -- Exempt from taxation -- Negotiability --","body":"Conditions in authorizing resolution -- Sale of bonds -- Prior consent not\nrequired.\n(1) Revenue bonds issued under the provisions of KRS 40.330 and this section shall\nstate that t hey are issued pursuant to KRS 40.330 and this section and to the\nprovisions of KRS Chapters 56 and 58, as applicable. Revenue bonds issued under\nthe provisions of KRS 40.330 and this section and the interest thereon shall be\nexempt from all taxation by th e Commonwealth and its political subdivisions.\nRevenue bonds issued under the provisions of KRS 40.330 and this section shall\nhave and are hereby declared to have all the incidents of negotiable instruments.\n(2) The State Property and Buildings Commission,  in each resolution authorizing the\nissuance of revenue bonds under the provisions of KRS 40.330 and this section,\nshall determine the following:\n(a) The maturity date or dates of the revenue bonds;\n(b) The manner in which interest shall be paid thereon;\n(c) The terms of redemption applicable thereto; and\n(d) Such other particulars of the revenue bonds not contrary to law or inconsistent\nwith KRS 40.330 and this section.\n(3) Notwithstanding the provisions of KRS Chapters 56 and 58, revenue bonds issued\nunder the provisions of KRS 40.330 and this section may be sold by the State\nProperty and Buildings Commission, and the interest rates to be borne by such\nbonds shall be determined, in such manner as the State Property and Buildings\nCommission shall decide, including, without limitation, sale by private negotiation.\n(4) No consent of any department, division, commission, board, bureau, or agency of\nthe Commonwealth other than the proceedings, conditions and other things which\nare specifically required by KRS 40 .330 and this section and KRS Chapters 56 and\n58, shall be required for the issuance of revenue bonds under the provisions of KRS\n40.330 and this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 40"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=21852","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:00Z","sha256":"176b0f4d212f9961e9362a34b081bf02a822c8ccd4e21a1290cff53df99c36d1","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-40.330","next":"us-ky/krs-40.340"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
