These regulations shall be in\naccordance with the provisions of KRS Chapter 13A.\n(2) The Department of Veterans' Affairs  shall coordinate with the Department of\nMilitary Affairs and the veterans' service organizations to determine the eligibility\nof an indigent veteran in the Commonwealth of Kentucky for the Indigent Veterans'\nBurial Program under administrative regulations  to be promulgated by the\nDepartment of Veterans' Affairs.\n(3) The Department of Veterans' Affairs shall coordinate the Indigent Veterans' Burial\nProgram with the Department of Military Affairs, the veterans' service\norganizations, the Kentucky Association  of Cemeteries, and the Kentucky Funeral\nDirectors' Association.","path":["KRS Chapter 40"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=21857","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:00Z","sha256":"9d1264830e97464f1f86b675fca07dca067b45d2f7fa3328a010019454d70745","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-40.355","next":"us-ky/krs-40.360"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
