{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-40.450","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 40.450","heading":"Powers and duties of Department of Military Affairs -- Administration of","body":"veterans' program trust fund by Department of Veterans' Affairs.\nThe Department of Military Affairs, Commonwealth of Kentucky, shall administer the\nprovisions of KRS 40.410 to 40.560 and shall:\n(1) Prepare and make available forms on which applications for the bonus shall be\nmade;\n(2) Employ such additional personnel as may be required for orderly and expeditious\nadministration;\n(3) Promulgate all administrative regulations require d for the effective administration\nof KRS 40.410 to 40.560, except as it relates to the veterans' program trust fund\nestablished in KRS 40.460(2), which shall be administered by the Kentucky\nDepartment of Veterans' Affairs. The Kentucky Department of Veter ans' Affairs\nshall have authority to promulgate administrative regulations for the administration\nof the veterans' program trust fund;\n(4) Report annually to the Governor and the Legislative Research Commission within\nsixty (60) days after the end of each fiscal year during its administration of KRS\n40.410 to 40.560; and\n(5) Report to the Governor and to the Legislative Research Commission not later than\nthe thirtieth day prior to the beginning of the 1990 Regular Session of the General\nAssembly, and each t hirty (30) days thereafter until adjournment of the 1990\nRegular Session of the General Assembly, concerning the following:\n(a) The number of claims which have been submitted;\n(b) The number of claims which have been approved for payment;\n(c) The number of claims which are subject to further review; and\n(d) An accounting for the funds which have been spent in the administration of\nKRS 40.410 to 40.560.","path":["KRS Chapter 40"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=43220","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:00Z","sha256":"0d158af07dccc4342a7be5cd6fbf8923dee34cdfd362c8c7979d9a6e3688eb87","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-40.440","next":"us-ky/krs-40.460"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
