{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-403.330","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 403.330","heading":"Judicial supervision of custody decree or agreement.","body":"(1) Except as otherwise agreed by the parties in writing at the time of the custody\ndecree, the custodian may determine the child's upbringing, including his education,\nhealth care, and religious training, unless the court after hearing, finds, upon motion\nby the noncustodial parent, that in the absence of a specific limitation of the\ncustodian's authority, the child's physical health would be endangered or his\nemotional development significantly impaired.\n(2) If both parents or all contestants agree to the ord er, or if the court finds that in the\nabsence of the order the child's physical health would be endangered or his\nemotional development significantly impaired, the court may order the local\nprobation, another appropriate local entity, or if currently invol ved in the case, the\nchild welfare department to exercise continuing supervision over the case to assure\nthat the custodial or visitation terms of the decree are carried out.","path":["KRS Chapter 403"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=1471","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:29Z","sha256":"7cc1a8721bcc620b6c18a26466535c9e862c936ff21b6bdda4b0f4a0c326a77a","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-403.325","next":"us-ky/krs-403.340"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
