{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-403.652","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 403.652","heading":"Low-income parties.","body":"(1) KRS 403.650(1) applies to a collaborative lawyer representing a party with or\nwithout fee.\n(2) After a collaborative law process concludes, another lawyer in a law firm with\nwhich a collaborative lawyer disqualified under KRS 403.650(1) is associated may\nrepresent a party without fee in the collaborative matter or a matter related to the\ncollaborative matter if:\n(a) The party has an annual income that qualifies the party for free legal\nrepresentation under the criteria established by the law firm for free l egal\nrepresentation;\n(b) The collaborative law participation agreement so provides; and\n(c) The collaborative lawyer is isolated from any participation in the collaborative\nmatter or a matter related to the collaborative matter through procedures\nwithin th e law firm which are reasonably calculated to isolate the\ncollaborative lawyer from such participation.","path":["KRS Chapter 403"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=54893","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:30Z","sha256":"5b8a132ba5e27b7d5ab9b2cfb5657b5ea7a5992c9cddf5d47bd15aed5b4f53ec","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-403.650","next":"us-ky/krs-403.654"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
