{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-403.751","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 403.751","heading":"Entry of summons or order of protection issued pursuant to KRS 403.715","body":"to 403.785 into Law Information Network of Kentucky.\n(1) All forms, affidavits, and orders of protection issued or filed pursuant to KRS\n403.715 to 403.785 which require entry in to the Law Information Network of\nKentucky shall be entered on forms prescribed by the Administrative Office of the\nCourts after consultation with the Justice and Public Safety Cabinet. If the\nprovisions of an order of protection are contained in an order which is narrative in\nnature, the prescribed form shall be used in addition to the narrative order.\n(2) The circuit clerk, in cooperation with the court, shall cause a copy of each summons\nor order issued pursuant to KRS 403.715 to 403.785, or foreign prot ective order,\nfully completed and authenticated pursuant to KRS 403.715 to 403.785, to be\nforwarded, by the most expedient means reasonably available and within twenty -\nfour (24) hours following its filing with the clerk, to the appropriate agency\ndesignated for entry of orders of protection into the Law Information Network of\nKentucky and to the agency assigned service. Any order or court record\nsuperseding, modifying, or otherwise affecting the status of an earlier summons or\norder shall likewise be forwar ded by the circuit clerk to the appropriate Law\nInformation Network of Kentucky entering agency and to the agency assigned\nservice, if service is required. The clerk and the court shall comply with all\nprovisions and guidelines of the Law Information Network of Kentucky for entry of\nthe records.\n(3) Each agency designated for entry of summonses and orders issued pursuant to KRS\n403.715 to 403.785, or foreign protective orders authenticated pursuant to this\nchapter, into the Law Information Network of Kentuc ky shall, consistent with the\nprovisions and guidelines of the Law Information Network of Kentucky, enter the\nrecords immediately upon receipt of copies forwarded to the agency in accordance\nwith subsection (2) of this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 403"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=44757","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:30Z","sha256":"0105024e6018f6c284730347502518efd7243e583e7ccaa1dd67e3215457c856","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-403.7505","next":"us-ky/krs-403.7521"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
