{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-403.816","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 403.816","heading":"Communication between courts.","body":"(1) A court of this state may communicate with a court in another state concerning a\nproceeding arising under KRS 403.800 to 403.880.\n(2) The court may allow the parties to participate in the communication. If the parties\nare not able to participate in the com munication, they shall be given an opportunity\nto present facts and legal arguments before a decision on jurisdiction is made.\n(3) Communication between courts on schedules, calendars, court records, and similar\nmatters may occur without informing the part ies. A record need not be made of the\ncommunication.\n(4) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (3) of this section, a record shall be\nmade of a communication under this section.
