Appendix\nSections 521 and 522. A court may not issue a permanent order granting custodial\nresponsibility without the consent of the deploying parent.\n(2) At any time after a deploying parent receives notice of deployment, either parent\nmay file a motion regarding custodial responsi bility of a child during deployment.\nThe motion shall be filed in a pending proceeding for custodial responsibility in a\ncourt with jurisdiction under KRS 403A.104 or, if there is no pending proceeding in\na court with jurisdiction under KRS 403A.104, in a new action for granting\ncustodial responsibility during deployment.","path":["KRS Chapter 403A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=51183","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:31Z","sha256":"259122604941d4c1a0167a9201d0e2e99bca308748797236e93c4b0a70a135e9","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-403a.301","next":"us-ky/krs-403a.303"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
