{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-405.060","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 405.060","heading":"Sale or conveyance in fraud of wife or child -- Transfer of income or","body":"property to avoid payment to child support creditor.\n(1) Any sale or conveyance made to a purchaser with notice or for the benefit of any\nreligious society, if made in fr aud or hindrance of the right of wife or child to\nmaintenance, shall be void as against the wife or child.\n(2) In any case where an obligor transfers income or property to avoid payment to a\nchild support creditor, the transfer shall be indicia of fraud. I ndicia of fraud creates\na prima facie case that the transfer of income or property was to avoid payment of\nchild support. Indicia of fraud shall be set forth by administrative regulation.\n(3) In any case in which the Office of the Attorney General knows of  a transfer by a\nchild support obligor with respect to which a prima facie case is established, the\nOffice of the Attorney General shall:\n(a) Seek to void the transfer; or\n(b) Obtain a settlement in the best interests of the child support creditor.","path":["KRS Chapter 405"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=56570","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:32Z","sha256":"3a13f72368ab2711863d9a2557c5bdc42e9f9e9c98f0c2ae777aad07a660d5f9","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-405.050","next":"us-ky/krs-405.070"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
