{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-407.5310","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 407.5310","heading":"Duties of Office of the Attorney General as state information agency.","body":"(1) The Office of the Attorney General is the state information agency under KRS\n407.5101 to 407.5902.\n(2) The state information agency shall:\n(a) Compile and ma intain a current list, including addresses, of the tribunals in\nthis state which have jurisdiction under KRS 407.5101 to 407.5902 and any\nsupport enforcement agencies in this state and transmit a copy to the state\ninformation agency of every other state;\n(b) Maintain a register of names and addresses of tribunals and support\nenforcement agencies received from other states;\n(c) Forward to the appropriate tribunal in the county in this state in which the\nobligee who is an individual or the obligor resides, or  in which the obligor's\nproperty is believed to be located, all documents concerning a proceeding\nunder KRS 407.5101 to 407.5902 received from another state or foreign\ncountry; and\n(d) Obtain information concerning the location of the obligor and the oblig or's\nproperty within this state not exempt from execution, by such means as postal\nverification and federal or state locator services, examination of telephone\ndirectories, requests for the obligor's address from employers, and\nexamination of governmental records, including, to the extent not prohibited\nby other law, those relating to real property, vital statistics, law enforcement,\ntaxation, motor vehicles, driver's licenses, and Social Security.","path":["KRS Chapter 407"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=54396","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:34Z","sha256":"97f232cdcb6e09826e9cb4888d0f563e668ddea73be0923b9c265743d4b0f7b6","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-407.5309","next":"us-ky/krs-407.5311"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
