{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-407.5319","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 407.5319","heading":"Receipt and disbursement of payments.","body":"(1) A support enforcement agency or tribunal of this state shall disburse promptly any\namounts received pursuant to a support order, as directed by the order. The agency\nor tribunal shall furnish to a requesting party or tribunal of another state or a foreign\ncountry a certified statement by the custodian of the record of the amounts and dates\nof all payments received.\n(2) If neither the obligor, nor the obligee who is an individual, nor the child resides in\nthis state, upon request from the support enforcement agency of this state or another\nstate, the child support enforcement agency of this state or a tribunal of this state\nshall:\n(a) Direct that the support payment be made to the support enforcement agency in\nthe state in which the obligee is receiving services; and\n(b) Issue and send to the obligor's employer a conforming income -withholding\norder or an administrative notice of change of payee, reflecting the redirected\npayments.\n(3) The support enforcement agency of this state receiving redirected payments f rom\nanother state pursuant to a law similar to subsection (2) of this section shall furnish\nto a requesting party or tribunal of the other state a certified statement by the\ncustodian of the record of the amount and dates of all payments received.","path":["KRS Chapter 407"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=44106","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:59:34Z","sha256":"ef3464456d96f9743474b044a05e0b154734faa172ce3b673f70492e2c777b02","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-407.5318","next":"us-ky/krs-407.5320"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
