{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-41.060","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 41.060","heading":"Assistant treasurer.","body":"(1) The Treasurer shall appoint an assistant and may remove him or her at pleasure. The\nassistant shall take the constitutional oath. The assistant may perform any of the\nduties of the Treasurer, excepting the signing of checks, and shall perform the duties\nof clerk.\n(2) If the Treasurer is incapacitated, or is absent from the seat of government, the\nassistant shall discharge the duties of the office during the incapacity or absence of\nthe Treasurer.\n(3) The Treasurer and his or her sureties shall be responsibl e on his or her bond for all\nthe acts and omissions of the assistant.\n(4) The salary of the assistant shall be fixed by the Treasurer, subject to the provisions\nof KRS Chapter 18A.","path":["KRS Chapter 41"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=51341","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:00Z","sha256":"2faa74b517f1afe92c70701e8732faf2f39aff035232a34af5ad4aafa4d10554","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-41.050","next":"us-ky/krs-41.070"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
