{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-41.130","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 41.130","heading":"Warrants -- Contents -- Conditions of issuance -- Unified and integrated","body":"system of accounts.\n(1) Each warrant of the Finance and Administration Cabinet upon the Treasury shall\nspecify the date, amount, and person to whom payable, and no money shall be\ndisbursed by the Treasurer unless the warrant contains these specifications.\n(2) No warrant shall be issued unless the money to pay it has been appropriated by law.\nThe Finance and Administration Cabinet may require any claimant to state on the\nface of his claim the law under which it is payable.\n(3) The Finance and Administration Cabinet shall record all warrants in the unified and\nintegrated system of accounts.\n(4) The Treasurer shall maintain electronic records in the unified and integrated syst em\nof accounts that show all checks issued, the name of the payee, date, and amount\nand shall be in a format that is readily reconcilable with the warrants issued by the\nFinance and Administration Cabinet.","path":["KRS Chapter 41"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=51345","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:00Z","sha256":"830a84c37e3c425b25401d9bd82063f103499d16173e0cd8420249ad65f0c2ec","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-41.120","next":"us-ky/krs-41.140"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
